Independence
CMMC Pal is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, the Cyber AB (CMMC Accreditation Body), or DIBSAC. "CMMC" and "SPRS" are referenced only to describe the programs the calculator applies to.
No legal or compliance advice
The calculator applies the scoring rules of the NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment Methodology v1.2.1 to the answers you enter. Its output is a gap analysis, not a compliance determination. Official assessment results come only from a C3PAO or the DoD. Confirm your score against the official methodology before submitting it in SPRS.
